Blackbyrd Warehouse, the most recent venture from Eric Hilton (of Thievery Corporation) and his brother Ian, gets my seal of approval.  The Hilton brothers also own Marvin, Gibson, American Ice Company, and Eighteenth Street Lounge.   Man, I really hope they make it one day.  Poor guys . . .

July 19, 2011: My friend, who wants an official nickname since he’s made multiple appearances on my blog, shall heretofore be called “Triple X.” So, Triple X, ahem, accompanied me to Blackbyrd Warehouse tonight. Dollar oyster specials all night was music to our ears. I like this new endeavor from the proprietors of Marvin. Cool vibe. We’ll be back soon!
